Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Crystal Extractor?
A 3M GP Sailing facility that auto-harvests shards. Requires level 80 and must sit within two tiles of the helm to stay efficient.
Can I move it after building?
No. You must destroy and rebuild, so use ghost placement first.
Why does placement matter?
Staying on the helm keeps XP bonuses active. If you walk off to empty the Extractor, your ship stops.
Does it work on all ships?
Yes, but tile locations differ. Refer to each ship’s guide for exact placements.
Is optimization bannable?
No. These are legitimate mechanics approved by Jagex.
