OSRS Farming Boosts
Plant trees and herbs above your level.
Farming Boosts allow you to plant crops before you have the required level. This is extremely useful for Spirit Trees or high-tier Achievement Diary tasks.
Boost Items
- Garden Pie: The standard boost. Gives +3 Farming. Easy to make or buy.
- Spicy Stew (Brown): Gives up to +5 boost. Required for boosting +5 to plant a Spirit Tree at level 78 (for 83 requirement).
- Cider: Gives +1 (Mature +2). Rarely used.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I boost to harvest?
You generally don't need to boost to harvest, but boosting does increase yield slightly. However, you MUST boost to plant the seed/sapling.
Does the boost need to stay active?
No. You only need the boost for the split second you plant the seed/sapling. Once it is in the ground, you can let the boost drop.
