Effective strategies for Ranged combat and bossing.
Ranging OSRS allows players to attack from a distance, minimizing damage taken. This makes strict "Safe Spotting" possible.
Safe Spotting
Trapping enemies behind scenery (rocks, tables) allows you to attack without retaliation. This is key for low-level accounts fighting high-level monsters like Blue Dragons.
Bossing
Ranged is the meta for many bosses including Zulrah, Vorkath, and the Fight Caves (Jad).

How does safe-spotting work?
Find an obstacle that blocks the monster's path but allows you to shoot over or around it. If the monster is larger than 1x1, corners work well.
Is Chinning worth the cost?
Yes, if you value your time. It is the fastest XP in the game for any combat skill.
